Last night marked the 25th Anniversary of Paley Fest. And for the 2008 installment, Hollywood’s Cineramadome played host to the cast and crew of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer.”
The “Buffy” peeps included Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michelle Trachtenberg and Seth Green among others. And they gathered together onstage following a screening of the Season Six musical episode “Once More With Feeling” to discuss the evolution of the series.
Sarah Michelle Gellar looked fabulous in a hot pink dress with black stockings and matching heels. She seemed very carefree and laid back, hamming it up for the cameras and laughing heartily.
Michelle Trachtenberg went for a vintage look, sporting a black and tan belted strapless dress that looked like fabric stolen from a 1970s couch. But it definitely worked for her.
And Seth Green looked his normal youthful self in an all-black suit as he thoroughly enjoyed being in the company of two beautiful women.
Hollywood beauty Sarah Michelle Gellar strips off to reveal… her flawless skin.
TV and film star Sarah Michelle Gellar has finally decided to bare all in a sexy ad campaign for the classic moisturiser, Vaseline.
In these tasteful images the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress stripped off to reveal her flawless, sun-kissed skin, but she didn’t let anyone take a peek at her face.
Gellar, 30, has always vowed that she would never reveal all for any film role and like many Hollywood actresses has reportedly had no nudity clauses written into film contracts
Vaseline challenged their customers to guess the identity of the mystery celebrity in their new campaign.
In one close up picture only her well manicured hand can be seen resting on her arm.
In another her hair falls over her face as she wraps her arms around her bare legs.
The skin care company then gives a glimpse of the star’s lips and chin with the slogan “Keeping skin amazing”.
It is thought that this could most revealing photoshoot the actress.
Gellar went some way to losing her clean-cut image when she starred in the 1999 film Cruel Intentions.
The actress was at the centre of much publicity when her character shared a steamy lesbian kiss with co-star Selma Blair.
Gellar met her husband Freddie Prinze, Jr., during filming of the 1997 teen horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer.
The glamourous star was recently voted one of Hello! magazine’s most elegant women.
Gellar’s latest film role sees her play Alice in Wonderland as a young woman in a movie based on the computer game American McGee’s Alice.
I’M sure SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR never looked this good when she was fighting vampires.
The Buffy beauty was on eye-popping form when snapped arriving to The Letterman Show in New York this week.
She recently spoke of her sadness at the plight of BRITNEY SPEARS.
Sarah described her situation as “heart wrenching?”.
She added: “It’s not something to joke about.
“I’ve met Britney a few times and seen her perform. I think what has happened to her is heart wrenching.
“It’s really sad. Honestly, without sounding corny, it gives you a sorrowful experience when you realize how lonely and how isolated these girls must be.
fadedyouthblog.com has the cover and preview scans from the upcoming issue of Maxim magazine. (If anyone can scan it for me, I’d be so happy, the magazine isn’t sold here). The magazine hits stands on November 20th!
In the October issue of Self magazine, the former vampire slayer admits to pinching pennies.
“I take my reusable bag to Whole Foods so I get a discount,” Gellar tells the mag, which hits stands Sept. 25. “I go to Bloomingdale’s on double rewards day. And I always print my dry cleaning coupons before I go. My dry cleaner laughs. He’s like, ‘You don’t have to keep printing them out!’ ”
And she’s definitely been saving money on gas since leaving Hollywood for New York City. Gellar, who will next be seen in The Air I Breathe and Possession, actually makes her way around NYC on a tricked-out bicycle.
“Not only is it bright pink with the bell and streamers and the whole thing, but it has Hello Kitty tires,” Gellar says. “Every time I leave my apartment, my doorman just shakes his head.”
The New York native is happy to be back home on the East Coast.
“I felt a little suffocated,” she says of living in Hollywood. “All I did every day was drive to work and back. I was losing my conversation skills. Acting is a lonely business sometimes. You don’t always know who to trust. I’ve been really fortunate. I’ve had my family. I’ve had the same friends. You look in our apartment and the pictures on the mantel from last week are the same people from when I was five years old.”
Sarah Michelle Gellar is proud to be a penny pincher.
The ‘Cruel Intentions’ actress - who is married to fellow movie star Freddy Prince Jr. - admits she does all she can to save money.
Sarah revealed to Self magazine: “I take my reusable bag to Whole Foods so I get a discount.
“I go to Bloomingdale’s on double rewards day. And I always print my dry cleaning coupons before I go. My dry cleaner laughs. He’s like, ‘You don’t have to keep printing them out!’ ”
The 30-year-old actress - whose next movies include ‘The Air I Breathe’ and ‘Possession’ - also revealed she rides around her home city of New York on a child’s bike.
She said: “Not only is it bright Pink with the bell and streamers and the whole thing, but it has Hello Kitty tyres. Every time I leave my apartment, my doorman just shakes his head.”
Sarah is delighted to have quit Hollywood and moved back to Manhattan, as she hated living in Los Angeles.
She said: “I felt a little suffocated. All I did every day was drive to work and back. I was losing my conversation skills. Acting is a lonely business sometimes. You don’t always know who to trust. I’ve been really fortunate.
“I’ve had my family. I’ve had the same friends. You look in our apartment and the pictures on the mantel from last week are the same people from when I was five years old.”
